Shine FM is partnering with the City of Kenton for Service Day 2013 on Saturday, June 15. Our purpose for Service Day is to help with outdoor household projects in the Kenton community. If you are a senior citizen, disabled citizen, or resident in need that needs assistance with an outdoor household project, we encourage you to submit a request. We also need volunteers from the community to donate their time to help these residents. In Matthew 5, Jesus tells us to let our light shine before others, that they may see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven. Join us in Kenton for Service Day 2013 on Saturday, June 15 from 9 to 1 to reflect the love of Christ by helping others in need.

Project Requests
If you are a senior citizen, disabled citizen, or a resident in need, we encourage you to submit a request for a group of volunteers to help you with an outdoor project. The services provided by these volunteers are free of charge. Supplies need to be supplied by the resident. To request assistance, please contact the Kenton City Office at 419-674-4850. Requests must be received by Friday, June 7.

Services can include:
Gardening
Planting Flowers
Mulching
Disposal of unwanted items. No hazardous materials please.

Honda of America Manufacturing announced Tuesday that the new NSX Supercar will be built right here in Marysville beginning in 2015. Their former North American Logistics Center will be transformed to house the development and manufacturing of the NSX.

Shine FM is proud to welcome Sanctus Real in concert on Monday, July 8 as a part of Shine FM Day at the Logan County Fair. Opening for Sanctus Real will be Bread of Stone. This concert is the main evening activity and will take place in the grandstand. Tickets for the concert will go on sale later in May.

The Bellefontaine High School football program will be hosting a football youth camp at Dodd Stadium June 24-27. The camp is each day from 10 to Noon for kids ages 8 to 14. The cost is $50.00, which includes a camp t-shirt. Registration forms are available at any of the Bellefontaine City Schools buildings or online. The deadline for registrations is Friday, June 14.

Liberty National Bank in Kenton is hosting their “Liberty for Life Hot Dog Days” on Friday, May 31 from 11 to 2. This lunch event raises money to help find a cure for cancer. Lunch is free, however donations to Hardin County Relay for Life are greatly appreciated.

Their Bellefontaine South location will be hosting the same event on Monday, June 3.

The First Church of God in Bellefontaine is hosting a FREE family movie night on Saturday night, May 25 at 7. Admission is FREE, along with FREE popcorn and door prizes.

They will be showing “This is Our Time – To Seize God’s Calling.” Ethan, Luke, Alé, Ryder and Catherine are five friends connected by their strong faith. After graduating college, they each set out to make a difference in the world for God. Their ambitions are high, their passions are strong but will they have the courage to fulfill their calling regardless of what comes their way. The sacrifice they are asked to pay may just be too high. Through godly wisdom from an outside source, the group realizes that this is not their time after all, it’s all His!
