According to the latest national survey by the Pew Research Center in August 2010, 67 percent of Americans say that religion is losing its influence on American life, up from 59 percent who said the same in July 2006. How is the influence of your church in your city?…county? Is it making a difference? If your church closed its doors this week, would the community miss it?
The book The Church of Irresistible Influence is about church transformation, about a vision worth living for and changing for because it pulses the very heartbeat of God. Irresistible Influence is about the church being vitally connected with God, each other, and the community. Each chapter begins with a bridge building story because it is a good example of what the church is designed to be in order to fulfill the Great Commandment “to love your neighbor as yourself,” and the Great Commission “to seek and save the lost.”
At Shine FM, we envision building bridges to our community to see Christians use their gifts and abilities to meet physical needs.
