Shine FM is finishing our final steps of preparation to begin broadcasting on our 88.9 FM signal based in Logan County. Many projects have been accomplished over the past two months. We finalized our tower agreement, received our zoning permit, ordered and received equipment, painted the office, and carpeted and sound proofed the studio. The office carpet will be installed within the next week.
We are in the process of finishing the install and wiring of the studio, along with the scheduling of the installation of the antenna and equipment at the tower site. The mild winter is definitely a plus for the outside work being done at the tower. Once the tower site work is complete, we can test the signal and file the proper paperwork with the FCC. Once the paperwork is filed, we will announce our launch date.
Once 88.9 FM is on the air, our focus will turn to get our 88.5 FM signal in Kenton on the air by May.
